The Invisible (2007) : A Nice One.

Genre: Teen Supernatural Thriller
Director: David S. Goyer
Writers: Mick Davis, Christine Roum
Stars: Justin Chatwin, Margarita Levieva, Marcia Gay

The Invisible is a teen supernatural movie which is an official remake of the  Swedish film, Den Osynlige, which was based on the novel of the same name by Mats Wahl.

The film tells the story of Nick Powell who is an excellent high school who raises money by selling homework's. He plans to travel to London for attending a writer's course. He tells about this to his best friend, Pete Egan that he has already brought the airplane ticket but hasn't told to his mom, who won't let him go if she knows. Then there is Annie Newton the trouble maker in school. Nick's friend Peter Egan owes money to her... When events starts to unfold, cause of a mistaken identity Nick takes severe beating from Annie and her gang, When Nick goes unconscious Annie and rest of the gang thinks he's dead, his body is now dumped in a sewer. The next morning, he discovers he cannot be seen - he is now a spirit in a state of limbo and can only observe as the events of that day unfold.

Though the movie have some similarities with 2005 film 'Just like Heaven' and 1999 film 'The Sixth Sense' still it manages to be different. The film tells us that what really matters is making your life worth something and taking control of it on your own.

The script and direction is just average, the main positive of the movie is the performance of Margarita Levieva as Annie, Her transformations throughout the movie is fantastic, specially her performance in the climax scene is really good. Justin Chatwin as Nick Powell has also done a decent job. Overall The Invisible is a one time watchable movie which you can enjoy if you go with zero expectation.
